Biography
Danna has loved to sing since she was a little girl and was awarded her first music prize when she was just 3 years old. Her parents recall that even her baby noises sounded like music. They also recall how easy it was for her to sing all the songs she liked while playing with her toys, reaching most of the high notes without ever having studied any vocal techniques. Danna entered music school at the age of 9, specializing in the violin. While she excelled at the violin, she was more recognized for her voice. In the high school she was the main soloist in the choir and other two choirs. During this time, she also took acting lessons and played the main characters in several well-known plays. Danna attended the School of Arts where she pursued her vocal career, along with her university studies. Danna won several prizes at singing contests, both in Romania and in her current country of residence, the Netherlands. In 2013 Danna launched her first album, a unique collection of Romanian Christmas songs, "Tânărul Crai", that includes several own compositions.
